Last updated: May 2026

Counsel Planner is distributed on Apple's App Store. Purchases and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple, in accordance with App Store rules and refund policies.

Your professional data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud space. We do not collect or manage it on our servers. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.

1. What is Counsel Planner

Counsel Planner is an iPad and iPhone application developed and distributed on Apple's App Store. It is designed for legal professionals who want to manage hearings, deadlines, case files, meetings and notes directly from their Apple device.

The app runs exclusively on iOS and iPadOS. There is currently no Android or macOS version available.

2. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not install or uninstall the application. Continued use of the app following any updates to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

3. Licence

Counsel Planner is licensed — not sold — to the end user. The licence is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, in accordance with Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA).

Copying, modifying, decompiling, distributing or reselling the application or any of its components is strictly prohibited. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Cloud service subscription

The app is free to download. To create new content — cases, hearings, deadlines, notes — an optional Cloud service subscription is available, purchasable directly through the App Store.

📅

Available plans

Monthly, quarterly and annual. Exact prices and any promotional offers are shown on the App Store purchase page at the time of subscription.

🎁

Free first month

New subscribers can benefit from a free introductory month, subject to Apple's terms and conditions. This offer is available once per Apple ID.

🔄

Automatic renewal

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date via iOS Settings (Settings → [your name] → App Store → Subscriptions).

📴

Access after expiry

If your subscription expires or is cancelled, the app continues to work in read-only mode: you can view, edit and delete existing data, but cannot create new content. Your data is never deleted or made inaccessible.

5. Purchases and refunds

All purchases — including the app itself and any subscription — are processed through Apple's App Store. As a result, payment processing and refunds are governed exclusively by Apple's policies.

To request a refund, please contact Apple directly via the official page reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to authorise refunds outside Apple's channels.

No pro-rata refund is provided for any unused portion of a subscription period upon early cancellation, in line with standard App Store policies.

6. Data and iCloud

All data entered in the app resides exclusively on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud space. We do not collect, store or process any data on our servers.

iCloud synchronisation is optional and subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions. For full details on how we handle your privacy, please read our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for any particular purpose.

Counsel Planner is a professional organisational tool. Responsibility for meeting court deadlines, complying with legal obligations and fulfilling any professional duty remains solely with the user. We strongly advise against relying on the app as the sole system for managing legally significant activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the app.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its source code, design, logos, text and all other content are our exclusive property or are licensed from third parties, and are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. No content may be reproduced, distributed or modified without prior written permission.

9. Changes to the app and terms

We reserve the right to modify, update or discontinue the app — or any part of it — at any time and without prior notice, for example to implement technical improvements, add new features or comply with regulatory changes.

We also reserve the right to update these Terms of Use. Changes will be published on this page with the updated date. For material changes, we will notify you via an App Store update.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute relating to the use of the app shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the developer's place of establishment, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the user's country of residence.

11. Contact

For any questions regarding these Terms, please write to us at support@counselplanner.app. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
